I'm sure that if you rotate the 2 pink 2 green plot that it has the same shape as the 4 hexes at the bottom of the garden. And all 4 of those are irrigated. This objective card should have been allowed.

had a 2 pink 2 green plot in takenoko table #15630650 being show as conditions not met. do not have an imgur picture, my browser is IE10
The end of the game is move #279 but i had previously tried to play the objective in an earlier turn. There is hope for the yellow green diamond, as a player in the exact same game completed the condition earlier in the game.

This is not a bug.

I just reviewed all three of these - in each case the image on the objective card would have to be reflected in order to match the plot pattern on the board, while the rule book only allows for rotational symmetry.

I keep this straight in Takenoko by always imagining the pattern as two horizontal rows - and the rarest color is always on the bottom to the right...

This is the 2nd game where i have had a plot card that is 2 green next to 2 yellow. One of the plots is irrigated by a token and the others either by canals or by being next to the opening tile. The game will not "sell" the card for points.

Rotation of the plot card is allowed - but reflections of the configurations are specifically forbidden. Every example given in this thread is a reflection of the image on the plot objective and thus correctly not allowed to fulfill the conditions.

Not all 2 yellows next to 2 pinks are the same configuration; either imagine rotating the card, or just remember that the rarest plot color is always bottom right if the hexes are imagined in rows. I will try to illustrated with text again here:

Fulfills objective:
[Y]--[Y]
--[P]--[P]

Does not fulfill objective:
--[Y]--[Y]
[P]--[P]

These two patterns are not rotationally identical. Remembering it like this will also allow you to better anticipate when other players are attempting to make these patterns and effectively block them.

In any case, please stop upvoting this as it is NOT a bug, and there are multiple rules that are still not implemented correctly in this game (can still draw Panda objectives when you already have the bamboo to complete them [should be disallowed], cannot place plot improvements upon first placing a plot if it is immediately irrigated [should be allowed], cannot choose order unchosen plots are placed in at the bottom of the stack).

derebus13, not a bug, that does not match the board. You would need another yellow in order to complete this. When you rotate the pink/yellow tile so the pink is on the left, you'll see that the yellow are shifted up relative to the pink. On the board the yellow are shifted down, so this is NOT a match.

The wording on the tooltip is unfortunate as it states that the tiles in the garden should 'reflect' those on the card. Perhaps this needs rewording to 'match', but otherwise these reported situations are certainly not bugs.

Can't play reflected objective on plots with irrigated improvements.
If plot reflection is not allowed, I think it should be clearly put in the game rules. Thanks.

Don't have the exact move, but it was one of the very last ones. (The last move of jkilpatrick of the game)
Will not allow YYGG to be played (want to play it rotated).

Posted above before adequately reading other people's comments. It appears that I am wrong and that this is not a bug. I do wish that the instructions were more clear on this topic, but that is not a BGA problem.

Just played a game of takenoko and had the same problem.
I could not play my objective card stating that 2 green en 2 yellow tiles that are next to each other (sort of a rhombic shape) although that exact shape was on the board (all 4 tiles had water)

Ich have the same Problem.

Had a Mission-Card with 2 red under 2 green parts.

And allways have 2 red Garden-Parts under 2 green.

Butt at the Mission-Card are in left direction. The Green Parts on the plan are in right direction.

If you turn the Mission-Card to right or left, the upper parts are in the left direction too.

In my Thought i turn the card above themselve so the direction change. I tink.

BUT IT DOESN' T WORK. IF GET A REAL CARD AND TURN IT ON IT SELF YOU GET THE BACKSIDE.
And there is nothing.

So I thing this is not a technical Problem. No its a optical Problem.

I only suggest is to give in the comment, if you click on the Card, a Tip that you can only turn the piece to left an right.

I hope this can solute the problem.

I've reviewed ALL the screenshot provided.

As explained by some of you (ex: veme), there is no bug. If you turn the card upside down, you'll see that the hex are not matching the objective.
