In turn by turn, if I win an auction, after other players pass, they have to wait until I select the cards to pay. As I know how much I would pay (the price I bid will not vary), I could select the card to pay right away. I also have no strategy reason to wait after they pass to decide. If I don't win the bid, the cards are deselected. This would thus eliminate a round of waiting for a player after each sucessful biding.
