The Karma system doesn't punish quitters hard enough, especially when quitting at the end of long games. I am proposing a change to the karma loss where the loss becomes the percentage of the game that was completed when they quit.
This makes the punishment more proportional to the offense, and hopefully increases the incentive for players to complete games like they should.
There can still be a minimum karma penalty of 5-10 points, but someone quitting at the end of a game should be penalized more than someone quitting at the beginning or forgetting to show up at the start of an Arena game.
If this is seen as too harsh, perhaps making the penalty half of the completed percentage would be a good compromise. -

Several bug reports show a lot of people are unhappy with the way arena launches.

game freezes, and we are unable to play. sometimes quitting is the only way out of a frozen game. sometimes we can't even quit.
This has to be fixed first.
Resets as quickly as the recently played games, I think.
I'm usually a 100% rep player but due to some games that ran longer than expected into my holidays and having to take my dad into hospital I got skipped on three games at once and got slugged with a 50% rep reduction for one life crisis.
I'd love to see something that acknowledges sustained reputation and punishes repeat offenders rather than the current system of kicking someone when they're down.
