The Z-man rules on page 12 says:
"If there are treasures
on a special border space, the player
must take treasures from those spaces first;
after that, he may choose from which
space to take his remaining treasures."
In our game, the player was incorrectly allowed to choose the treasure that was not on the special border space, when the other treasure was on a special border space. Please fix this bug, thanks

Rapporthistorik
I replayed the game to see if I could corroborate your report. Initially I was going to post in support thereof, but then I read more carefully the rule that you quoted above, and I realized that neither of the two temples involved in this case are marked with a special border space.
So there doesn't appear to be a bug here, sorry.
