Sammanfattning av regler
Objective
Be the first player to empty your stash by successfully loading all of your belongings into escape pods.
Turn Structure
On your turn:
- Choose an escape pod.
- Play 1 available card onto it.
Players normally may only play 1 card per turn unless instructed otherwise by a special card.
Available Cards
A card is considered available if no other card overlaps or covers it in your stash.
Covered cards cannot be played until uncovered.
Card Types
Item Cards
- Have a numeric value.
- To play successfully, the card value must be equal to or greater than the top card currently on the chosen escape pod.
Special Item Cards
- Have special effects instead of numbers.
- Can generally be played on any pod.
- Resolve their instructions immediately when played.
Opening Additional Escape Pods
If a player has a Keycard:
- At the start of their turn, they may open a new escape pod.
- Discard the Keycard from the game.
- Place a new pod face-up beside the others.
- Immediately play a card onto the new pod.
There must always be at least one escape pod available.
Playing Face-Down Cards
- Face-down cards remain hidden when uncovered.
- To play one:
- Choose a pod.
- Flip the card over while playing it.
- Resolve the result normally.
This may cause a jam.
Successfully Loading a Pod
A numbered card successfully loads if its value is:
- Equal to the top card value, or
- Higher than the top card value.
Jamming an Escape Pod
If a player places a numbered card lower than the top card on the pod, the pod jams.
When a pod jams:
- Take all cards from that pod, including the card that caused the jam.
- Shuffle those cards.
- Refill empty spaces from the player’s stash that existed at the start of the turn.
- Fill the bottom row first.
- All replacement cards are face-up.
- Discard any leftover cards.
If Only One Pod Exists
- Leave the pod in play after clearing it.
If Multiple Pods Exist
- Remove the emptied pod from the game after refilling the stash.
LAUNCH!
Some special cards contain the LAUNCH! effect.
After resolving the card’s instructions:
- Discard the entire escape pod and all cards on it from the game.
If no pods remain afterward:
- Place a new unused pod into play.
Winning the Game
The first player to successfully play their final card and completely empty their stash wins immediately.
